The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme is a challenging curriculum, primarily aimed at students aged 16 to 19. It leads to a qualification that is widely recognized by the world’s leading universities. More information about the Diploma Programme can be found on the IB official website.

Students in this particular IB Program work independently on a theme of their choice.  While no regimented assignments are given, the function of the teacher is primarily to insure that the student develops a consistent body of work that shows the development and contextualization of  the chosen subject matter.

Students are encouraged to explore as many media as needed to find the best expressive visual vocabulary.  They are guided to use media in function of an idea and as tools to create a visual dialogue.

Students in ths I.B. program do NOT have prior art experience at high school level. The Art I.B. Program is a one year course.
