Line
Line is the path of a moving point.
Lines define the edges of shapes and forms.
Lines have value.
There are five basic kinds of lines.
 
Horizontal Lines

Horizontal lines are PARALLEL to the horizon.  Horizontal lines suggest a relaxing, peaceful feeling and convey a feeling of rest and repose.  They make you feel content, relaxed and calm.

Horizontal lines are STATIC, or INACTIVE,
express, REST and STABILITY.
