Line
Line is the path of a moving point.
Lines define the edges of shapes and forms.
Lines have value.
There are five basic kinds of lines.
 
Explicit Line

Line is the path of a moving point. Lines define the edges of shapes and forms.

 

Implied Line

An IMPLIED line exist ONLY by implication, as the edge of shapes. A group of shapes arranged in a row can create an implied line.

A LINE OF SIGHT is a visual line that connects two points, such as the imaginary line moving from a figure’s eyes to a viewed object.
